Their home is a shell of what it once was. The houses are all boarded up and the streets are empty. But it’s still home.
They make their way to their old house, but it’s been ransacked. They search through the wreckage, but there’s nothing left.
They’re about to give up when they hear a noise coming from the basement. They go down to investigate and find a zombie, just barely clinging to life.
They kill the zombie and take stock of their situation. They’re safe, for now. But they know that this is just the beginning. The nightmare is only starting.
